How to Use Second Chance Cupid website
First, decide whether you want to search for a message or post your own. We highly recommend searching first, to ensure the person you have in mind hasn't already had the same idea as you!
Searching
To make it easier, there are options on the homepage to simply search by username or name. If you don't know a person's name or username, you can fill in a search form which allows you to view any messages which match yours in terms of location and dates met, for example.
Simply choose from one of the following sections of our site and take it from there:
Posting
If the person you're looking for has not yet left a message, never fear! Its quick, simple and completely free to post your own message!
First, as above, choose the section in which you want to leave your message:
Once you have left a message giving details that the searcher can match in their form, you will be given the opportunity to create a 'mini- mee'. This is a cartoon which will look like you but still protects your privacy (see below). After you've created a mini-me and posted your message, with the option to go 'private' (replies only from people who know your name), all you have to do is wait! If your message is replied to, a notification will be sent to your personal email address.
Creating a profile
This section of our site needs to be completed for all services offered, but is also great for singles with no-one specific in mind who want to keep their options open for the future!
Your profile will be strictly private and you will receive a username to pass on to someone you like - perfect for scribbling on a scrap of paper and throwing to a sexy man on the train as you get off, or handing out in clubs and bars if you're too shy to talk.
If you give out your username, the person you fancy can log on to our site and read more about you.
They can then send an email to your personal address, and you can take it from there!
Flirtroom
If you don't have your eye on anyone in particular but fancy a no-strings spot of flirting, you can also send messages from our flirtroom to any of the users listed.
So what are you waiting for? Create a mini-me, update your profile with a few details and get chatting!
Please note: All member's profiles are PRIVATE by default, which means that the flirtroom option only shows those users who have chosen to make their details public. As such, the members shown may only be a small number of the total signed up to our site.
Privacy
Our site uses something similar to a search engine, rather than a general message board which can be seen by anyone. This means that your message can only be viewed by a person who has filled in some of the same details on their search form as you have in your message.
The chances are that if the person you have in mind sees your posting, they will have searched specifically for it, suggesting the feeling's mutual!
To protect privacy further, we do not allow for uploaded photographs but give you the opportunity to create a 'mini-me' cartoon; allowing searchers to recognise you but making it less likely for others to.
If you're still feeling shy about leaving a posting, you can choose to make your message private. This means it can only be found by people who know your name.
The Flirtroom and Create a Profile options are also strictly confidential...it's win win with Second Chance Cupid!
